What are we commanded by the sixth commandment?

By the sixth commandment we are commanded to be pure and modest in our behavior.

I exhort you therefore, brethren, by the mercy of God, to present your bodies as a sacrifice, living, holy, pleasing to God.  (Romans 12:1)

The sixth commandment forbids all impurity and immodesty in words, looks, and actions, whether alone or with others.

But immorality and every uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as becomes saints.  (Ephesians 5:3)

     What are the chief dangers to the virtue of chastity?

The chief dangers to the virtue of chastity are: idleness, sinful curiosity, bad companions, drinking, immodest dress, and indecent books, plays, and motion pictures.

     What are the chief means of preserving the virtue of chastity?

The chief means of preserving the virtue of chastity are to avoid carefully all unnecessary dangers, to seek God's help through prayer, frequent confession, Holy Communion, and assistance at Holy Mass, and to have a special devotion to the Blessed Virgin.

Be sober, be watchful! For your adversary, the devil, as a roaring lion, goes about seeking someone to devour.  (1 Peter 5:8)

There are three categories in which individuals are exposed and become infected with the HIV Virus:

The Innocent        Bodily Abuse        Illicit Sex

 THE INNOCENT

The new born baby from the mother who has been infected, blood transfusions from donors who have this disease, physical contact from open wounds that mix with blood or other bodily fluids. An actual example; a Dentist who had AIDS caused mouth bleeding in a patient and an open wound in his finger or hand infected a young lady patient. (Who was a virgin)

Our hearts cry out in anguish and sorrow for those who obtain this disease in this manner for their sufferings both mental and physical are beyond description. This is a very  small percentage of those who have this disease.

BODILY ABUSE

This is primarily caused by shooting one’s self with narcotics and using needles that had been used by an infected person.  This is a real fools game as you can set yourself up for a lifetime of Hell on earth from both the physical and mental anguishes of the narcotics and AIDS. This is only a secondary cause of this dreaded disease and is a subject that will be dealt with at a later date.

ILLICIT SEX

 This is the prime cause and by far the highest percentage of all AIDS cases. Control this category and Aids will wither away, and vanish from the face of the earth in a relatively short period of time

The Answer?

Obey God's Laws!

 With few exceptions, HIV/AIDS, and all other Venereal Diseases, are caused by breaking God's Law; and the only way the world can be rid of these diseases and related horrible sufferings is by obeying God's Laws.

WHAT ARE GOD'S LAWS?

The only sex that God permits is through the lawful and moral union in marriage between a man and a woman. Break this law and untold sufferings can occur both here and in eternity.  These are the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church and most other major religions throughout the world.

This law is based on the Sixth Commandment, "Thou salt not Commit Adultery", and restated by Jesus Christ several times in the New Testament.

What does this Law include?

• Adultery

• Fornication

• Pornography

• Masturbation

• Prostitution

• Divorce and Remarriage

• Incest

• Homosexuality

• Trial Marriages

All of these subjects will be dealt with in detail in future lessons. But one small example of what can happen from a worldly stand-point for violating this commandment is:

                                                                                    DIVORCE

 This disorder brings grave harm to the deserted spouse, to children traumatized by the separation of their parents and often torn between them, and because of its contagious effect  makes it truly a plague on society. It causes untold misery; mental anguish and suffering that will change the life of a child forever.

A VERY IMPORTANT FACT

God never sends anyone to Hell, and God never gave anyone HIV/AIDS. You do that all on on you own. You send yourself to Hell, and you give yourselves AIDS (except for the innocent).

Obey all facets of the Sixth Commandment. THOU SHALT NOT COMMIT ADULTERY. If you really care for your fellow man, and if you really want to do something for humanity, promote with all your heart and strength this Commandment. For it is truly the only way the world will rid itself of HIV/AIDS.

 We hope and pray for medical cures. But for now and forever God's Way is the only way.
