The Works of Mercy

The corporal works of mercy are oriented toward the body.

                 To feed the hungry
                To give drink to the thirsty.
                To clothe the naked.
                To visit and ransom the captives.
                To shelter the homeless.
                To visit the sick.
                To bury the dead.

The spiritual works of mercy are oriented toward the soul.
                To admonish sinners.
                 To instruct the ignorant.
                 To counsel the doubtful.
                 To comfort the sorrowful.
                 To bear wrongs patiently.
                 To forgive all injuries.
                 To pray for the living and the dead.
 

IN OTHER WORDS FORGET SELF--GIVE AND SERVE THOSE IN NEED
For Total Inward Peace - - - -

  1. Seek to do the Will of Others rather than your Own.

  2. Select less rather than more.

  3. Take and seek the last Place rather than the First

  4. Seek and Pray that the Will of God becomes Part of your Very Existence.
